Incorporated in 1982, this Syntex Ltd controlled company
has been the only manufacturer of ethyleneamines in India.
The plant, located in Baroda, Gujarat, is capable of manufacturing
various ethyleneamines.
The company has been taken over by Alkyl Amines Chemicals
Limited and S. Amit & Co. in 2000.
In the recent past the company has focussed its product mix
to focus on Piperazine as the main product.
Ethyleneamines are used in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals,
lubricants, fuel additives etc.
