2 Ethylhexylamine is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, dye chemicals, rubber chemicals, petroleum additives, plastic additives, surfactants, polymerization auxiliaries, corrosion inhibitors, paint additives, insecticides and detergents.

Storage

 

Can be handled in safe manner in closed containers. Avoid contact with copper and its alloys.
2 EHA drums should be stored in a cool and well ventillated area, away from sources of ignition.

Packing

 

160 kg.net wt.in mild steel drums.

Health & Safety

 

2 -Ethylhexylamine is irritating to skin, eyes and the mucous membrane. In case of eye contact, affected area to be washed with plenty of water atleast for 15 minutes.Inhalation of fumes to be strictly avoided. In case of inhalation, victim should be moved to fresh air and oxygen should be administered. In case of ingestion, victim should be made to consume copious quantity of milk and
water. Medical advice should be sought at once. Personal protective equipment should always be used while handling this product.
